Welcome to the Site!
My name is Lucy, creator of Vampires of Velia Dieci. I just thought I would say "hello" to all of you considering joining.
You may notice that you can't see any of the roleplay boards, or the OoC boards. Don't worry, though. xD When you make an account they'll all show up. In the mean time, here are some things you should do if you're considering joining:
Introduce yourself: Go onto the c-box and say hello! If you're planning on joining using it is almost essential, and as thus you ought to quickly make an account on chango. :3 Make sure to pick a name you want to be called by if you can, though! The last thing we need to see is "pokemonfan774" who wants to be called "Gary."
Make an account: Along the same lines as the request above, please name yourself what you desire to be called. One account per person as well. Don't make a different one for every character.
Read all the information provided: Go to the "stuff you need" section and read everything within. Make sure you enjoy the premise and plot of the story, as well as know and can follow the rules.
Ask questions: If there is anything you are unsure about on the site please ask someone in the c-box! We'll be happy to enlighten you on anything at all you need to know! (we're nice like that.)
Make a Character: After you join (if you decide to) you need to have a character to roleplay. Go to the Character Creations section and make a thread in the applications board, with the title being your character's name. Use the character sheet provided, and voila! You can roleplay your delightful vampire into the wee hours of the night as soon as an admin (Deryn or I) approves your application!
Have fun!: We're all eager to see you interested in VoVD, and I'm certain if you decide to join we'll have many fun moments together. Thanks for visiting! All of us here hope to see you join the ranks of our rapidly growing family of roleplayers!
